Kayla the Bibliophile Blog Tour Stop: Beta by Jasinda Wilder

Description:
Roth and I are on an open-ended tour of the world. Roth being Roth, this means missionary in Morocco, reverse cowgirl in Calcutta, bent over the bow of a houseboat in Hanoi, slow and sleepy on St. John. Anywhere and everywhere, in every conceivable position, and some I didn't know were possible.

Life was pretty incredible.

Until I woke up in his chateau in France, alone. On the bed next to me was a note. There were only four words:

He belongs to me.

Review:
*Recieves email telling me Jasinda has written a sequel to Alpha and would like to know if I want a copy to review*
1st: UMMMMM, DUH!
2nd: Wait...she wrote a sequel to Alpha?! Holy crap!

So you want to read a sweet, fluffy love story depicting all the different places Roth and Kyrie get it on during their world travels?
Well, sucks for you! This is definitely not that, and thank goodness. This is much darker than I expected out of the hilarious and awesome author, and I was very impressed, seeing how I like them as dark as they come, my favorites being CJ Roberts, Aleatha Romig, Belle Aurora, and Pepper Winters.
This is a true sequel, picking up where Alpha left off, so you'll definitely need to read that one first to truly understand what is going on.

It's a whirlwind ride with twists and turns that won't let you set the book down, and it all starts from page one!
Listen to the warning from the description. There are parts involving rape and torture, so if those are triggers for you, stay away. But if you enjoy an adrenaline pumping, shocking, and intense read that will make you forget it's not real life because of how well written it is, then Beta should be next on your one-click list.

  1. I just finished Alpha and Beta in a week! I loved them both in totally different ways. Thanks for the recommendation! At first I was in shock over the ending of Beta but after sitting on the couch for a few minutes, mulling it all over, I'm actually totally okay with it. I found it refreshing!
