Kayla the Bibliophile's 1 Year Blogiversary Giveaway



I can't believe it's already been a year since I sat down and created my blog. Starting as a place where my friends could go to see all the books I recommended so I wouldn't get anymore texts in the middle of the night saying "OMG! I just finished my book; what should I read next?!" has turned into so much more! Its like I'm on a treasure hunt, but instead of that proverbial X marking the spot, the journey has had gold and jewels along the path. If I hadn't started my blog, I wouldn't know so many of my favorite Indie books. I would probably just now be learning about authors I discovered nearly a year ago, authors I've helped realize their dreams. I wouldn't have met some of my favorite authors, or even know some of my very best friends that I've met through my blog. Or have my dream job. So as a thank you for helping me grow my little scrapbook where I kept my reviews into the place that gives me so much pride, here are...

BUT out of respect for the authors, bloggers, and ME, who work so hard on our blogs, and spend hours upon hours begging for donations and putting together the rafflecopter (it's a BITCH!), PLEASE do not like a page only to turn around and unlike it when the contest is over. Only like a page if you are truly interested in what that page has to offer. Give them a chance, especially the ones listed below, since I only associate with the coolest of people ;-)

    I had a problem with my Facebook likes... I reached 5000 so it was saying I liked them but it wasn't actually marking them. I went back to 2009 and deleted a bunch of old pages and then did the FB ones again. I hope I got them all because on my page it said they were liked but at the actual page they weren't. Sorry about that!!
