KTB Review: Socrates Inspires Cherry to Blossom by Red Phoenix

Kayla the Bibliophile’s Review:  Socrates Inspires Cherry to Blossom by Red Phoenix

What if you were to realize something about yourself later in life than you would have hoped? Would you just say, “Ah, damn. I’m too old to worry about that now. Shoulda, Coulda, Woulda…” or would you say, “Better late than never!” If you’re reading this, you know I’m a glass half-full kinda girl, so I personally would be on the Never-Too-Late end of the spectrum. And the main gal in this tale, Kathryn, is right there with me.

Description:

Sometimes lives change with a single post…

Kathryn is known as Cherry Blossom by her online friends. Curvaceous and fiercely loyal, the forty-something finds herself in a unique place in her life… Enter Socrates, the online Dom.
His devotion to educating people new to the world of BDSM is something Kathryn greatly admires. Although she isn’t into kink, curiosity gets the best of her and she begins to correspond with the Spanish Dom.
One simple comment leads Kathryn into the passionate world of Dominance and submission where she uncovers truths about herself, and the incredible man she’s come to know and trust.

“It’s been my honor to introduce you to the woman you were meant to be.” ~Socrates

I would classify this story as pure erotica. If you are looking for a hot, quick, lighthearted read with no angst, are into BDSM romances, and love a sweet Dom with a heart of gold, then Socrates is the perfect read for you. It is a story that will prove that the lifestyle can fulfill a void in someone’s life, no matter what their age, race, shape, sex, or size.

Hoping this one turns into a series, either following the lovable Dom Socrates, or following Kathryn on her journey. Keep ‘em comin’, Red! <3

  2. Love the review, Kayla. Love the book, Red Phoenix. I hope it is the start of a series (or two) as well. Socrates is hot and compassionate with the surprise profession. Cherry is just someone I'd root for and am glad she chose to blossom. It's never too late to blossom! ;)
