Kayla The Bibliophile's Blog Tour Stop for M.S. Willis' Madeleine,Abducted

This is a story that is not meant for the faint of heart.

This is how MS Willis begins the prologue of her recent release Madeleine, Abducted and it is a true statement.  If you’ve read the plot summary on Amazon it should come as no surprise that this book is about Madeleine Clark, a naïve concert cellist that is abducted after her premiere concert as a soloist.  Her abduction sets off a chain of events that will change both Madeleine and Aaron’s lives irrevocably.

I was a bit concerned when M.S. indicates that this book will not have a white knight come in to save the day. My reaction was something like: Wait, what did you say???!?!  Where is the Master we are supposed to fall in love with? How are we going to root for the underdog if we already know there is no hope? Boy, was I glad I kept reading!
“I intend to introduce you to the darker side of life, to teach you what a man can do for you, to make you beg for more.”

Madeleine and her captors appear to be forced into a lifestyle (Master/slave) that could cause their own deaths if they do not comply with the demands made by the head of the estate, Aaron’s father, Joseph Carmichael.  This is where things tend to get a bit graphic and prove that this book needs to be read by someone not new to the captive genre.  Violence, not entirely sexual in nature, seems to happen whenever Joseph enters a room.

This is the first book in The Estate series, but each being a stand alone book.  You don’t have to wait until the next book to find out what happens to Madeleine and her captor…        ~SS
